Prior to Move-In Day
Please contact the utility companies at least two weeks prior to your move-in day and schedule the utilities to be transferred into your name starting the first day of your lease. Please bring documentation that this was completed on your move-in day. If you are unsure what utilities need to be transferred please contact us.. Here is the contact information for the various utility companies.
- City of Bloomington Utilities (Water/Trash Removal):
- Centerpoint Energy (Gas):
- Duke Energy (Electric):
All of our properties already have the proper lines and cables run for TV and internet service. The techs from these companies are not allowed to drill into the home. They do not need to do this at our properties. Also, satellite dishes are NOT allowed on the roofs of any of our properties. Local internet providers include:
- Xfinity/Comcast:
- AT&T:
- Smithville:
It may be possible to connect your home to fiberoptics so if you wish to consider fiberoptic service please contact us.
Please email or call us a few days prior to your scheduled move-in date so we can arrange a time to meet with you at your new home to set the door code and complete some mandatory local paperwork.
