Cleaning Checklist
The goal is that the home is ready for the next tenant upon your move-out. Here is a general list and guide of things to clean and check when moving out:
Exterior: Make sure porches, patios, and decks are swept and all trash cans have been brought back up to the home.
House Generally: Clean windows (inside); dust blinds; dust lights and ceiling fans; vacuum or sweep floors; clean all light switch plates, wipe down doors and door handles; wipe down heating and cooling vents; remove all furniture, and remove all trash.
Kitchen: Clean all appliances. No food should be left behind in the fridge and confirm the dishwasher is empty; wipe down all counters; sweep and mop the floors; wipe out all the drawers; and wipe down all the shelves.
Bathrooms: Sweep and mop the floors; clean the sinks and toilets; clean tubs and showers; and wipe down all shelving.
Laundry Room: Make sure the washer and dryer are empty; wipe down the washer and dry; and clean dryer vent.
Garage: Sweep the garage floor; make sure all trash and your personal items have been removed.
Please report anything that is not working or is broken at the home.
